Football people weeks – Mutual understanding football tournament within FARE network

The FARE network ( is an organization that brings together individuals, informal groups and organizations driven to combat inequality in football and use the sport as a means for social change.

FARE annually announces small grants Football People Action Weeks. Supports informal soccer teams from across Europe, the purpose is to promote cooperation and mutual coexistence of various ethnic minorities, people with disabilities, etc. The idea is that football can unite different people.

Life together NGO in cooperation with Frydek – Mistek organize the tournament focused on mutual understanding, where Roma and non-Roma informal teams will play together. The tournament will be held on Sunday, 18. 10. 2015 (10 am – 4pm) in a nice local school gym.

Football matches will take place according to the rules of a small football, five-member teams (4 + 1) aged 10 – 18 years, in two age categories, will compete. All players will be provided with a little snack and awards (medals, cups) purchased thanks to the financial support of FARE network (,, the City of Frydek – Mistek, the Municipality of Ostrava.
